ABC 13 News in Las Vegas, Nevada reported on a 25-year-old mother of five named Kathy Perea who spent nights in the bathroom vomiting and struggling with chest pains. Both of these effects started to occur after she was prescribed the Yasmin birth control pill.
“I was throwing up so much that the vessels in my eyes were busting because I was straining myself so bad,” she said to ABC 13 News.
Mrs. Perea went off the pill, but the pain continued. It turns out her gallbladder suffered irreparable damage and was forced to have it surgically removed. Was it due to her taking Yasmin? Looks likely.
Unfortunately, Mrs. Perea’s story is common. Thousands of personal injury lawsuits have been filed against Bayer, the manufacturer of Yasmin and Yaz, due to injuring women who’ve taken these dangerous prescription birth control pills
